Expatriates moving for work or personal reasons worry about having to rebuild a social network while traversing a foreign landscape. Then, there are the financial concerns of losing everything and having to start all over.

As the founder of Aline Bunod Coaching and an expatriate myself, I know firsthand just how stressful life and change can be. I also believe that each person is unique and, therefore, deserves personalized strategies tailored to their situation. Some of the tools I use include the following:

  • Positive Psychology and Mindfulness Practices work to enhance well-being by focusing on strengths and optimism while boosting self-awareness and resilience.

How long will life coaching take to produce results?

Many clients start to notice positive changes right from the first few sessions. While it’s typically realistic to expect around 10 to 12 sessions to achieve significant and lasting results, the exact timeframe will depend on your personal pace and the specific goals we set together. Whatever your situation or needs are, I’m here to support you every step of the way!

Would therapy be more effective than life coaching for overcoming challenges?

Therapy often involves a deep dive into personal experiences and emotional issues in search of healing past wounds.


Coaching, on the other hand, is action-oriented, focusing on navigating life transitions, setting future goals, and taking practical steps to achieve them. A life coach can offer you back-and-forth exchanges characterized by laughter, conversation, and interactions that are typically not experienced in therapy.


So, if your goal is to make progress and achieve specific outcomes, coaching is probably the best fit.

I worry a life coach won’t have the experience or ability to relate to my situation.

To give you a better idea of my background, I have over 500 hours of personal and professional coaching experience, an ACC accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and years of experience working in the field.


I continually enhance my life coaching skills through training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis, Mindfulness practice, and coaching clients with ADHD. I’m also part of a supervision group and conduct individual sessions to ensure personalized support for each individual’s unique needs.
